Carin Steen

Carin, originally from Holland, is the founder and director of Arte Acción Copán Ruinas (previously Copán Pinta). Besides teaching and coordinating, Carin also paints, designs and writes and illustrates children's books.

Londin Velásquez

Londin Velásquez

Londin started as an instructor for our Maya project, but now does a bit of everything. He's a master in coordinating and our office would be nothing without him.Despite his young age, he's already a key figure within our organization!

Marlén Vásquez

Marlén Vásquez

Marlén is our accountant, administrator and also coordinates two art programs: Girls in Action and the workshops in Santa Cruz.

Moisés Mancía

Moisés Mancía

Moisés is another instructor of the Maya project. Moisés lives in Carrizalón, one of the most traditional Maya Chortí villages in Copán.

Elsa Morales


Elsa Morales

Elsa is our third instructor for the Maya project. She also teaches art workshops and helps around wherever she can. Which is a lot, because Elsa happens to be very creative.

 

Enrique Murcia


Enrique "Kike" Murcia

Enrique is the instructor for the Health and Sport Project. He also trains the baseball and soccer team.

Dionicio Hernández

Dionicio Hernández

Dionicio also is a trainer for the baseball team as well as an assistant in our video department.

José Carlos González

José Carlos González

Last year José Carlos worked as a facilitator, this year he's our video editor putting all our video reports together.

Ronald Reinds

Ronald Reinds

Ron set up the video department and the Baseball at Arte Acción Copán Ruinas, but moved back to Holland in September of 2008. However, he´s still involved in our organization and helps out from a distance.
